I actually didn't get that one the traditional way, Leigh. In the mid-1990s, Stan was awarding No-Prizes to questions he answered. I wrote to him saying, "I read once that you never regretted what other writers did with your characters. With one exception: the death of Gwen Stacy. Is that true?" Stan called me Bob and then said it was true. He felt that after killing Gwen's dad, it felt like Marvel had a vendetta against the Stacy family.
As far as I recall, there were only four people from Europe who got a No-Prize this way - and I was the first.
My second No-Prize was soon afterwards and I got that one for noticing and then explaining a mistake in an Avengers story.
